RESOLVED, that Benjamin T. Noha be permitted to install
and operate a private parking lot on the south side of West
Seventh Street, approximately 120 feet east of Rankin Street,
on Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, Block 3, Kentucky Terrace, in accord-
ance with applicant's plans approved October 15, 1957, and
subject to compliance with the provisions of all ordinances
governing the operation of parking lots and subject to the
further condition that sidewalks abutting said premises be kept
clean and free of ice and snow at all times.

Dear Sir:
This is in the matter of the application of Benjamin T.
Noha for a permit to install and operate a private parking
lot in conjunctio with a motel. This proposed facility is
located adjacent to the south side of W. 7th some 12u'
east of Rankin S The property is described as lots 1,
2, 3, 4 and 5 - block 3 - Kentucky Terrace . The zoning
is "Commercial. "
The property is presently vacant and has a frontage of 199. 03'
on W. 7th and extends to a depth of 134. 33'. The applicant
proposes to develop a paring lot with a capacity of 24 cars
to serve a 24-unit motel.
The adjacent area is primarily vacant, however there is
a single-family ome to the west and the City Council re-
cently rezoned i mediately to the east and south to "light
industry" to per it a candy manufacturing operation.
Field investigati n discloses no objection to this operation
from the standpoint of adjacent land use and the Traffic
Engineer has approved the proposed layout and operation.
Therefore, the Zoning Board recommends that this permit
be granted in acc•rdance with the applicant's plans approved
October 15, 1957
