The applicant proposes to develop a paring lot with a capacity of 24 cars to serve a 24-unit motel. The adjacent area is primarily vacant, however there is a single-family ome to the west and the City Council re- cently rezoned i mediately to the east and south to "light industry" to per it a candy manufacturing operation. Field investigati n discloses no objection to this operation from the standpoint of adjacent land use and the Traffic Engineer has approved the proposed layout and operation.
