WHEREAS, Additions and Deductions which might prove to be
necessary in the imp ovement described as the surfacing job
on De Courcy Drive from Lexington Parkway to Rosen Road,
Comptroller's Contract L-5811-2, E. J. Pennig Co. , Contractor,
have been provided for in the specifications at unit prices
stipulated therein, and
WHEREAS, it has been found necessary to make the following

160 tons Class "C" Binder Course $7.07 $1,131.20
155 tons Class "A" Wearing Course 8.67 1,343.85
Repairing soft spots in subgrade
Labor 104.94
Equipment Rent 93.53
Total Additions $2, 673.52
DEDUCTIONS
14,156 sq. yds. Prime Coat Application 0.03 424.68
TOTAL NET ADDITIONS $2, 248.84
WHEREAS, the total net addition is $2, 248.84, now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City of St. Paul through its City Council
approves the foregoing addition in accordance with the specifica-
tions in the sum of $2, 248.84, said sum to be added to the lump
sum consideration named in the contract, known as Comptroller' s
Contract L-5811-2, for the making of the above improvement.
The Commissioner of Public Works has agreed with the above
named contractor that the sum of $2,248.84 is the correct amount
to be added to the above contract.
