In the Matter of condemn ng and taking an easement in the land necessary for
slopes, cuts and fills in the grading of Brown Avenue from Wyoming Street to Belvidere
Street,
under Preliminary Order 83235 approved June 11, 195'7
The Council of the City of St. ;Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and t e same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded ith.
2. That the nature of the imp ovement which the Council recommends is condemn and take an
easement in the land neces ry for slopes, cuts and fills in the grading of Brown
Avenue from Wyoming Street o Belvidere Street, in accordance with the blue print
hereto attached and made a rt hereof, the batched portions showing the cuts and
the shaded portions showing the fills,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 50.00
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 26th day of
November , 19 57 , $t the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and irk the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
