WHEREAS, The Village of North St. Paul has made application
for extending its sanitary sewers as provided in Section 6 of
Ordinance No. 10080, C. F. 163726, approved May 13, 1953, and
has submitted plans and specifications for said work, and
WHEREAS, The aforesaid plans and specifications are approved
by the Commissioner and Chief Engineer of the Department of Public
Works of the City of St. Paul ; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the City Council of the City of St. Paul
approve the plans and specifications as submitted for the follow-
ing sanitary sewer extensions in North St. Paul :
Plan dated October 10, 1957 - McKnight Road from Shawnee
Drive to Shoshone Road.
And the Village of North St.Paul be and it is herein author-
ized to proceed with the construction of said sanitary sewer in
accordance with said plans and specifications.

RESOLUTION NO. 57145 SAD 5712
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on September 16,
1957, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the
improvement of McKnight Road from Shawnee Drive to Shoshone Road, by con-
struction of sewer, storm sewer and water mains and surfacing, and has
presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of North St. Paul,
Minnesota:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which are attached hereto
marked Exhibit "A ' and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. A copy of such plans and specifications are to be sent to the State
Board of Health and the City of St. Paul for their approval, and con-
, ditioned on their acceptance prior to actual construction of this project.
3. The Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official
paper and in Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the
making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications.
The advertisement shall be published twice, shall specify the work to be
done, shall state that bids will be opened and considered by the Council
at 7:30 PM, on October 21, 1957, in the Council chambers in the Village
Library, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with
the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond, or
certified check payable to the Village for 5 percent of the amount of such
bid.
Adopted by the Council this 7th day of October 1957, upon motion by Hosch,
seconded by Seppala.
