COUNCIL RESOLUTION-GENERAL FORM
PRESENTED BY

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul heretofore contracted with
the law firm of Vennum, Newhall and Ackerman for the editing
work required necessary for the preparation of the Legislative
Code of said City, which Legislative Code incorporated into
said. Code ordinances passed prior to October 1, 1956; and
WHEREAS, it is now deemed advisable to bring such Code
up to date by incorporating therein ordinances passed between
the 1st of October, 1956, and the 1st of January, 1.58; and
WHEREAS, the aforementioned firm has agreed to complete
the necessary editing work covering the period between
October 1, 1956, and January 1, 1958, for the sum of $1,000.00;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Corporation Counsel of the City of
Saint Paul is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an
agreement with the aforementioned firm on behalf of the City
of Saint Paul for the editorial work required to bring the
Legislative Code up to date as of the 1st of January, 1958,
payment for such work to be made out of Codification of
Ordinances Fund 3 A6.
