approves the award of the Pnrchas'
RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee therefor,
and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Water Department, Hamline
& Carroll Avenues, Saint Paul, Minnesota, one AC-HD6G Diesel Crawler Tractor with
Hydraulic Loader, to BORCHERT-INGERSOLL, INC. in accordance with City specifications
therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #6843 of said Borchert-Ingersoll, Inc. for
the price of $15,064.00 less allowance of $2,164.00 for 1950 Allis Chalmers Tractor with
Dozer Blade, Tractor Serial HD5B-5231, Motor No. 2A-3000, and Dozer Serial No. 5BG-923
to be taken in trade, making net amount of contract $12,900.00, such bid being the
lowest bid meeting specifications and said Borchert-Ingersoll, Inc. being a reasonable
and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the
proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to
execute said contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
