TAi; UNDERSIGNED, being the owner of the following des-
cribed property, to-wit:
Lots Twenty-eight (28) and Twenty-nine (29), Block
Two (2), Governor Johnson's Addition, according to
the recorded plat thereof on file and of record in
the office of the Register of Deeds within and for
the County of Ramsey and State of Minnesota,
also known as 1117 East Lawson Avenue, St. Paul, hinnesota, herewith
petitions the Zoning Board and the City Louncil of the City of St. Paul
for the granting of a variance from the terms and conditions of the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of St. Paul, relative to an 18 x 22 garage constructed
on the above described property, said garage currently having a four foot
setback from the side street. The garage in question was built after ob-
taining a building permit from the City Engineer's office of the City of
St. Paul, and no notice of any violation of an existing zoning ordinance
was given until coml;letion of the garage; and that in order to comply with
the present conditions of the Zoning Ordinance, it would work an extreme
and undue hardship upon the undersigned, and that the garage, as presently
constructed, conforms to the setback line of other garages in the vicinity.
