Whereas, A written proposal for the
making of the following improvement,
viz.:
and Improving Stillwater Avenue from
White Bear Avenue to McKnight Road
by surfacing with asphaltic 'Cncr.-
PRELIMINARY ORDER. the existing concrete paw
The undersigned hereby proposes the making of the following public improvement by the City of Saint Paul, viz.:
improving Stillwater M►en uc from White Sear Avenue to McKnight Read by sur-
facing with asphaltic concrete the existing concrete pavement; widening the roach
way to 44 fest by grading and paving the north and south side strips with 7" con-
crete base and 3t" asphaltic concrete; by grading and paving alley and driveway
returns; by constructing new curbs and sidewalks where necessary; by reconstruct-
ing storm water drainage face iitites; by constructing sewer, water and gas service
connections from street mains to the property linos where necessary; by reconstruct•
ing the paving, curbing and sidewalks on the intersecting streets where not In con-
formity with said improvement; by constructing conduits and appurtenances for future
lighting and traffic control systems and by doing all other work Which Is necessary
and incidental to said improvement.

4. To state whether or not said improvement is asked for on the petition of three or more owners.
5. To report upon all of the foregoing matters to the Commissioner of Finance.
