RESOLVED, that Twin City Federal Savings & Loan
Association be permitted to remodel and enlarge an existing
parking lot in the block bounded by Fifth, Sixth, Robert and
Minnesota Streets, more particularly described as Lots 4, 5,
12 and 13, Block 11, St. Paul Proper, in accordance with plans
approved January 9, 1958, said property to be suitably fenced
and the parking area satisfactorily drained and surfaced in
accordance with all existing standards.

Dear Sir:
This is in the matter of the application of the Twin City Federal Savings
& Loan Association for a permit to enlarge a public parking lot extending
between 5th and 6th streets in the center of the block between Minnesota
and Robert. This property is described as Lots 4,5, 12 & 13, Block 11, St.
Paul Proper. The zoning is Commercial
The property has a 100 ft. frontage on both 5th & 6th Streets extending the
distance of 300 ft. between these two streets. The plans meet existing
standards and have been approved by the Traffic Engineer. Field investi-
gation discloses no objection from the standpoint of adjacent land use or traffic.
This property is surrounded by retail and banking facilities.
It is proposed that the capacity of this parking lot will be increased from
80 to 128 cars. Both 5th and 6th Streets will be used as an exit and entrance.
The property will be suitably fenced, and the parking area satisfactorily
drained and surfaced in accordance with all existing standards.
In consideration of these factors the Zoning Board recommends this permit
be granted in accordance with the plans approved January 9, 1958.
