COMMISSIONER - DATE
RESOLVED, That the proper City officers hereby are
authorized to make effective provision therefor and refund
to the Clerk of the Municipal Court of the City of Saint
Paul the sum of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) erroneously
remitted by said Clerk and representing part of a bail
deposit evidenced by Municipal Court Bail Receipt No. 8703,
on the basis that such remittance, which was made to the City' s
General Fund, was representative of a fine, and that , in fact ,
no fine was paid in said case, and in lieu of the payment of
a fine, the defendant elected to serve and has served two
days in the workhouse.
