RESOLVED, That an extra in the amount of $500.00 be allowed
under Contract Number G -830, between the City of Saint Paul
and Hoffmann Electric, said contract for New Lighting at
Arlington Hills Branch Library and Riverview Branch Library
St. Paul, Minnesota, and said extra to cover installation
of a new 100 ampere service, single phase, 3 wire, with a
disconnect switch at Arlington Hills Branch Library (for
$235,00); and installation of a new 100 ampere service, sin-
gle phase, 3 wire, and running a new feeder to panel in
basement at Riverview Branch Library (for $265.00),
this work having been requested by the Commissioner of
Libraries, Auditorium, Museums and Stadia, and agreement
having been filed with the Comptroller and countersigned
by him.

Contract Number G -830 was awarded to Hoffmann Electric for
New Lighting at the Arlington Hills Branch Library and
Riverview Branch Library, St. Paul, Minnesota.
During the course of the work under this contract, it was
found desirable to do additional electrical work, and at
the request of Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium,
Museums and Stadia, negotiations have been conducted with
the contractor, who agrees to do the following work:
Arlington Hills Library
Install a new 100 ampere service, single phase,
3 wire, with a disconnect switch $235.00
Riverview Branch Library
Install a new 100 ampere service, single phase,
3 wire, and running new feeder to panel in base-
ment $265.00
totaling $500.00, which we believe is a reasonable amount
for the labor and material involved.
It is, therefore, requested that a resolution be submitted
to the Council authorizing this extra in the amount of
$500.00 to Contract Number G -830 to cover the above describ-
ed work.
