RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Department
of Public Utilities, Lighting Warehouse, 100 E. 10th Street, St. Paul, Minnesota
100 Jefferson. #236 -311 Multiple 400 watt mercury vapor lamp ballasts and
10 Jefferson #344 -706 (;232007 adapter included) Series 400 watt mercury vapor
lamp ballasts to BLAINE ELECTRIC COMPANY in accordance with City specifications and
the Formal Bid ;6833 of said Blaine Electric Company for the contract price of
$5114.00, such bid being the lowest and said Blaine Electric Company being a
reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is
directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City
officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City
