RESOLVED, That an extra in the amount of $150.00 be allowed
under Contract Number G -1093 between the City of Saint Paul
and the Robert E. Goranson Co., said contract for painting
and finishing at Arlington Hills Branch Library and St.
Anthony Branch Library, Saint Paul, Minnesota, and said ex-
tra to cover refinishing filing cabinets, this work having
been requested by the Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium,
Museums and Stadia, and agreement made with the contractor,
and a memorandum of said agreement having been filed with
the Comptroller and countersigned by him.

Dear Sir:
Contract Number G -1093 was awarded the Robert E. Goranson
Company for painting and finishing the Arlington Hills
Branch Library and St. Anthony Branch Library, Saint Paul,
Minnesota.
During the course of the work under this contract, it was
found desirable to refinish the filing cabinets and, at
the request of Commissioner Severin A. Mort.inson of the
Department of Libraries, Auditorium, Museums and Stadia,
negotiations have been conducted with the contractor, who
agrees to do this work for $150,00, which is a reasonable
amount for the labor and material involved.
It is therefore requested that a resolution be submitted
to the Council authorizing this extra in the amount of
$150,00 to Contract Number G -1093 to cover the above describ-
ed work.
