M TE 3 January 1958 WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium, Museums, and Stadia has reported in accordance with Section 51 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from December 1 to 31, 1957 inclusive, which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees in the Department of Libraries, Auditorium, Museums, and Stadia, Bureau of Public Libraries, for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: (1) Covering regular Bookmobile schedule, (2) Covering Bookmobile schedule during illness of driver. THEREFCIRE BE IT RESOLVED That the proper city officers are hereby author- ized to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provision of the Council's Salary Ordinance, Ordinance ;Vo. 6446. Mortinson- Resolved, That the proper city offi- cers are hereby authorized to pay certain employes in the Department of Libraries, Auditorium, Museums, & Stadia, Bureau of Public Libraries, for extra employment as described in the resolution.
