D. Hense for a permit to re -open an existing filling station located at the northeast corner of W. 7th and Walnut. The property is described as Lot 7, Block 52, Rice and Irvines Add. The zoning is Commercial. The tract under con- sideration has a frontage of GO ft. along W. 7th and extends 155 ft. along Walnut. There is an existing garage and filling station on the property. The previous owner of the property maintained a garage and a gasoline pump island located adjacent to the sidewalk. The new owner of the property wishes to continue the present garage operation and move the pump island from its former location to a new location half -way between the garage building and the property line all in accordance with emist- ing standards. The plans have been approved by the Traffic Engineer and other appropriate city agencies. Field investigation discloses no objection from the standpoint of traffic or land use.
