WHEREAS, the firm of Vennum, Newhall and Ackman, by
contract, has been hired to and did complete the editorial
work on the present St. Paul Legislative Code, under which
contract the editorial work was complete to October 31, 1956; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds it necessary and expedient that
said Code be brought down to date of December 31, 1957, now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the proper City officers are hereby authorized
to enter into a contract on behalf of the City, to hire and employ
said firm for the purposes hereinabove expressed at a fee of One
Thousand Dollars (1,000.00) to be charged to the account of
Fund 3 A�,Corporation Counsel.
