RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Department
of Public Works, Bureau of Traffic Control, Traffic Sign Shop, 102 East Tenth Street,
St. Paul, Minnesota 2000 gallons non - reflective traffic paint, to FAReJELL, OZMUN,
KIRK & COMPANY, Paint Manufacturing Division, in accordance with City specifications
and the Formal Bid #6555 of said Farwell, Ozmun, Kirk & Company, Paint Mfg. Division,
at a contract price of $5100.00, such bid being the lowest on a cost per foot per day of
useful life basis, and said Farwell, Ozmun, Kirk & Company, Paint Mfg. Division, being
a reliable and reasonable bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed
to draw up the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City officials hereby
are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
