RESOLVED, That an extra in the amount of $200.34 be allowed
under contract number G -1062 between the City of Saint Paul
and the M. E. Souther Construction Company, said contract for
the Installation of Furniture and Partitions for the Arlington
Hills Branch Library, Riverview Branch Library, and the St.
Anthony Branch Library, St. Paul, Minnesota, and said extra
to cover the furnishing and installation of 24 sets of
Brunswick Legs for Library Tables, this having been requested
by the Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium, Museums and
Stadia, and agreement made with the Contractor, and a memo-
randum of said agreement having been filed with the Comptroller
and countersigned by him.

Contract Number G -1062 was awarded to the M. E. Souther
Construction Company for the Installation of Furniture and
Partitions for the Arlington Hills Branch Library, Riverview
Branch Library, and the St. Anthony Park Branch Library, St.
Paul, Minnesota.
During the course of the work under this contract, it has
been found necessary to have the Contractor furnish 24 sets of
Brunswick Legs for Library Tables, and at the request of the
Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium, Museums and Stadia,
negotiations have been conducted with the Contractor who agrees
to furnish these for the additional amount of $200,34 which is
a reasonable amount for the labor and material involved.
It is therefore requested that a Resolution be submitted
to the Council authorizing an extra in the amount of $200,34
to contract number G -1062 to cover the above - described work.
