An ordinance amending Ordinance No.

7607, entitled:
"An ordinance fixing the duties and responsi-
bilities and the minimum qualifications for the various
classes of positions in the Classified Service of the City,"
approved February 13, 1935, as amended. This is an emergency ordinance
rendered necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and
safety.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 7607, approved February 13, 1935,
as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by placing in its
proper alphabetical order the following specification for
"Stores Clerk -- School Cafeterias".

Duties and responsibilities:
Under supervision, to assist with the receipt, storage and issuing
of meats, groceries and storeroom supplies at the school cafeteria
storehouse; to deliver such supplies to the various schools; and to
perform related work as assigned.
Examples of work performed:
To receive and store supplies.
To pick up supplies from vendors.
To inspect supplies to see that they are in accordance with specifications
and invoices.
To cut and grind meat and prepare it for sharp freezing.
To repackage miscellaneous grocery items and spices into suitable
packages for delivery to cafeterias.
To drive a delivery truck.
To take physical inventories.
To keep storerooms neat, clean and orderly.
To maintain stock records.
To make minor repairs and adjustments to cafeteria kitchen equipment.
Minimum qualifications:
High school graduation. Must be able to drive a panel truck and have a
chauffeur's license.
