partially opening, widening and extending Shepard Road by
condemning and taking the following described lots and parts of lots: Except the
northeasterly 10 feet, the southeasterly 40 feet of the northwesterly 160 feet of
Lot 1; the southeasterly 40 feet of the northwesterly 160 feet of Lot 2; and all
of Lots 3 and 4, Block 2, Stewart Avenue Addition,
under Preliminary Order 1850b3 _ approved November o, 1957
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is partially open,
widen and extend Shepard Road by condemning and taking the following described lots
and parts of lots: Except the northeasterly 10 feet, the southeasterly 40 feet of
the northwesterly 160 feet of Lot l; the southeasterly 40 feet of the northwesterly
160 feet of Lot 2; and all of Lots 3 and 4, Block 2, Stewart Avenue Addition,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 14,000.00
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 14th day of
January , 19 _j?�_, at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
