RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee therefor,
and hereby awards the contract for fire and extended coverage insurance covering the City
of St. Paul Public Auditorium Building and contents for the period of five years from
December 20, 1957, in the aggregate amount of $1,500,000.00, allocated as follows:
$1,200,000.00 on the building and $300,000.00 on the contents, with 80% co- insurance
clause attached to the policy, to A. R. MACEY AGENCY in accordance with Formal Bid
and Cityy specifications therefor hereto attached,
#6786 of said A. Re Macey Company /, to be paid in five annual installments with premiums
as follows: 1st Year $4457.39, 2nd Year $4061.33, 3rd Year $4061.33, 4th Year $4061.32,
5th Year $4061.32, making total five year premium of $20,702.69, said A. R. Macey Agency
being the only bidder and said A. R. Macey Agency being a reliable and reasonable bidder,
and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of
contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said
contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
