WHEREAS, It has become necessary for the Department of Parks to make
repairs and to do general rehabilitation work at the Como Zoo buildings and grounds
which are in the vicinity of the Refectory stands and rides, and
WHEREAS, the Park Refectories receive a considerable income from these
stands and rides due to the large attendance by the public at the Zoo, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Commissioner of Parks, Playgrounds and Public
Buildings be and tie is hereby authorized to transfer from the Park Refectory Fund
1022 to the Zoo Repair Fund 18 -G -4, the sum of $15,000.00 as the Refectory's
portion of the repair cost.
