RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment
and services necessary for or reasonably incidental to the painting and finishing
at Arlington Hills Branch Library, Riverview Branch Library and St. Anthony Branch
Library, Saint Paul, Minnesota to ROBERT E. GORANSON COMPANY in accordance with
City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #6780 of said Robert
E. Goranson Company for the contract price of $4,350.00, such bid being the lowest
and said Robert E. Goranson Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder, and the
Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract
therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract
on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
