An ordinance appropriating the balances
remaining in all items of the Interest Fund,
the Sinking Fund and the Redemption of Bonds
and Notes Fund at the end of the year 1957, after
all obligations and purposes for which such funds
were appropriated have been provided for. This
is an emergency ordinance rendered necessary for
the preservation of the public peace, health and
safety.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the balances remaining in all items of the
Interest Fund, No. X. the Sinking Fund, No. 27, and the Redemption
of Bonds and Notes Fund, No. 28, at the end of the year 1957, after
all obligations and purposes for which such funds were appropriated
have been provided for, be and they are hereby appropriated and
set aside to be used for the same purposes in 1958 as the same were
appropriated for in the 1957 budget.
Section 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency
ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of the public peace,
health, and safety.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
upon its passage, approval, and publication.
