RESOLVED, That the Purchasing agent be, and he is hereby authorized
with the consent of the Mayor and the Comptroller, to issue Purchase Order
to KEH E ELECTRIC COMPANY for Repairing of Air Raid Sirens at Snelling and
Jefferson, Smith and Curtis, and Phalan Beach at a cost of $389.55,
without advertisement or competitive bids, as an emergency existed where
failure to act promptly would work hardship to the best interests of the
City.
