An ordinance appropriating the balances remaining
in the Department of Public Safety funds at the end of the
year 1957, after all obligations and purposes for which the
funds were appropriated have been provided for. This is an
emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, health, and safety.
The Council of the City of Saint Paul does ordains
Section 1
That all balances remaining in the Department of
Public Safety Administration Farad, Police Fund,Fire Fund,
Police & Fire Alarm Yubd, Health Fund, and Real Bstata Fund
are hereby appropriated and set aside for the purpose of
P4ying salaries, and for purchasing supplies and equipment
for each of the bureaus during the year 1958.
Section 2
This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency
ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of the public
peace, health and safety.
Section 3
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
immediately upon its passage and publication.
