This is an emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety. The Council of the City of Saint Paul Does Ordain: SECTION I That the balances remaining in Charter Funds, Public utilities Fund No. 21 and Lighting Fund No. 24 are hereby appropriated and set aside for the purpose of paying salaries of the department and purchasing supplies, materials and equipment for`the year 1958. SECTION II This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety. SECTION III This ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and publica #ion.
