WHEREAS, Gust John Mondo, an employe of the Depart-
ment of Public Safety of the City of Saint Paul, was injured
in a third party accident on June 6, 1957, while engaged in
the performance of his duties for the Department of Public
Safety, and the City has incurred medical expenses in the
amount 'of $21.25 therefor, and, the employe, by reason of
said iinjury, was disabled for work for a period of 16 working
days, being paid the amount of $326.40 therefor; and
WHEREAS, a settlement has been negotiated by the
parties whereby the employe will receive the sum of $802.35
in settlement of his claim against the party causing the
accident, Roland 0. Leuzinger, and the City will receive
the sum of $347.65 for medical expense and wages ' p g paid said
employe because of said _ injury; therefore,,-be-it _- - -
RESOLVED, The proper City officers are hereby
authorized to accept said settlement in the amount of $347.65,
.y solely for the amount due it in connection with the pa sonal
injury sustained by said employe, from the State Farm Mutual
Automobile Insurance Company, insurer of Roland 0. Leuzinger,
and be it further
RESOLVED, That of said amount of $347.65, $21.25
shall be credited to Fund 31 -G1 -B, and $326.40 be credited to
Fund 7 -C -1.
