RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to Leach Manufacturing
Company, Oshkosh, Wisconsin (For City of St. Paul, Bureau of Sanitation( two Ford F -800
175" Truck Chassis with closed cab to GRAND AVENUE MOTOR COMPANY, in accordance with
City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid (6623 of said Grand
Avenue Motor Company at a contract of $7,892.00 F.O.B. Oshkosh, Wisconsin, such bid
being the lowest and said Grand Avenue Motor Company being the lowest reasonable and
reliable bidder and the'Corporation Counsel be, and hereby is,directed to draw up the
proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized
to execute said contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
