WHEREAS, on the 12th day of June, 1956, an accident occurred
at the intersection of Iglehart Avenue and Oxford Street in the City of
Saint Pd4,wherein an automobile driven by Thomas F0Lgelly, a Park police
officer of the City of Saint Paul., _,struck an automobile driven by
Arthur Freeman, causing extensive damage to the automobile of said Arthur
Freeman and personal injuries to the passenger in the Freeman vehicle,
Aaron Freeman; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the office of Corporation Counsel is hereby
authorized and directed to enter into and effectuate, on behalf of the
City, a proposed settlement whereby the case of Arthur Freeman v the
City of Saint Paul will be settled for the sum of $385.00 and the case
of Aaron Freeman v'the City of Saint Paul will be settled for $765.00.
