COUNCIL RESOLUTION— GENERAL FORM

RESOLVED, that the assessment for sprinkling the streets in
the City ordered sprinkled by the Council during the year 1957, as
submitted by the City Comptroller with his audit under date of
October 4, 1957, be and the same is hereby approved, the amount of
the assessment being $872,987.64, and the Commissioner of Finance is
hereby directed to certify the same to the County Auditor accompanied
by a certified copy of this resolution

The Honorable Mayor and
Members of the City Council
Gentlemen:
In accordance with Section 276 of the Charter of
the City of Saint Paul, we hereby submit for your approval
the cost of sprinkling for the year 1957, as determined by
the Public Works Department.
As nearly as can be ascertained, the amount will be
$872,987.64. These assessments have been audited and approved,
and we request that the proper resolution be passed.

Dear Madam:
In accordance with Section 275-B of the Charter of
the City of St. Paul, I wish to report that the total cost
and expense of sprinkling streets as ordered by the Council
during the year 1957 will be and is as nearly as the same
can be accertained, the sum of $872,987.64.
I am delivering to you herewith twelve ward books
indentified by my signature. They contain a complete list
and description of the parcels of land abutting upon the
public streets that have been sprinkled or oiled, and the
amount set opposite each respective description is the pro
rata cost including water and oil, inspection, cost of
equipment, repairs and maintenance in front of each respective
parcel of land.
