AUTHORIZATION OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS 7
PRESENTED BY HON. DATE October 3, 1957 19_
. In the matter of grading Danforth St. from Arlington Avenue to Nebraska Avenue,
and the south 44' of Nebraska Avenue from Kent Street to Dale Street under
Preliminary Order No. 181578 approved February 19, 1957 and Final Order No. 183012
approved May 28,,1957, and in the matter of constructing a sewer in Danforth Street
from Nebraska Avenue to a point 455' south of the south line of Nebraska Avenue
under Preliminary Order No. 179895 approved October 3, 1956, and Final Order
No. 184561 approved September 179 1957.
RESOLVED, That the plans and specifications as submitted for the above
improvement, be and the same are hereby approved and the Commissioner of Public
Works be and he is hereby directed to place the gravel and oiling by City Forces
at an estimated cost of $4,149.00,and the Purchasing Agent proceed to secure the
necessary materials,and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Aarchasing Agent be and he is hereby directed to
obtain bids for the improvement, the bids to'show separately the amount for the
grading work (except the work to be done by City Forces), and the amount for the
sewer work as per plans and specifications, and the total thereof to be considered
as bids for the entire improvement, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the cost of the above improvement, including engineer-
ing and inspection expenses amounting to $573.00, or a total of $4,722.00, plus the
cost of grading and sewer be assessed against the benefited property.,
