WHEREAS, additions and deductions which might prove to be
necessary in the improvement described as the grading and
paving:of E. Blvd. of Lexington from Aurora Avenue to University
Avenue, Comptroller's Contract L- 3816,�Fielding & Shepley,
Contractor, have been provided for 'in "the specifications, and
WHEREAS, it has.been found necessary to make the following
additions and deductions:
Additions due to substitution of asphalt
surfacing for sod in boulevard areas.

25 cu. yd. Excavation @ 3.00 7
Total additions $328.00
Deductions:
112 sq. yds. Sodding .35 39.20
NET ADDITIONS 0288.80
WHEREAS, the total net addition is $288.80, now there-
fore, be it
RESOLVED,, that the City of St. Paul, through its City
Council approve the foregoing addition made in accordance
with the specifications in the sum of 6228.80, said amount
to be added to the lump sum consideration named in the
contract, known as Comptroller's Contract L -5816, for the
making--of the above improvement.
The Commissioner of Public Works has agreed with the
above named contractor that the sum of $288.80 is the correct
amount to be added to the above contract.
