RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Colmnittee

therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering Crushed Rock
Salt (bulk) in covered hopper cars with Enterprise Gates to the Department of
Public Works, Bureau of Construction and Repairs (to be spotted at yards as
designated) between September, 1957 and April 15, 1958, as follows:
Approximately.1500 tons, more or less, to CARGO CARRIERS, INCORPORATED
at a contract price of approximately $20,625.00
Approximately 1500 tons, more or less, to CUTLER- MAGNER COMPANY
at a contract price of approximately $20,625.00
in accordance with City specifications and the Formal Bid #6590 of said
bidders, such bidders being reasonable and reliable bidders, and the
Corporation Counsel be and hereby is authorized to execute said contract on
behalf of the City of St. Paul.
