under Contract Number L- 5738 -A between the City of Saint Paul
and the Sheehy Construction Company, said contract for General
Construction of the Public Health Center Building, and said
extra to cover the installation of one McKesson No. 581 Air
Compressor and additional lockers, this work having been
requested by the Commissioner of Public Safety, and agreement
made with ,the Contractor, and a memorandum of said agreement
having been filed with the Comptroller and countersigned by
him.

Dear Sir:
Contract Number L- 5738 -A was awarded to the Sheehy Con-
struction Company for General Construction of the Public Health
Center Building, St. Paul, Minnesota.
During the course of the work under the contract, it has
been found necessary to have installed one McKesson No. 581 Air
Compressor, and also to have installed lockers which include 72
additional shelves and 12 new ends. At the request of the Commis-
sioner of Public Safety, negotiations have been conducted with the
Contractor who agrees to furnish and install these to items for
an extra total amount of $603.00 - this figure being $253.00 for
the the Air Compressor and $350.00 for the Lockers, and this - -_
representing a reasonable total amount for the labor and material
involved.
It is therefore requested that a resolution be submitted
to the Council authorizing an extra in the amount of $603.00 to
Contract Number L- 5738 -A for the above described work..
