RESOLVED, That the purchasing Agent be, and he is hereby authorized, with the
consent of the Comptroller, to purchase repair parts for Water Meters from
VARIOUS METER COMPANIES for a period of one year, without advertisement or
competitive bids as these firms are the manufacturers and only sources of
supply and no advantage could be gained thereby.
