Winkel- Q i L r n Q An ordinance granting permission to Collins Electrical Construction Company, a corporation, to construet,•maintain, and operate, for flood lighting purposes, an electrical low voltage (120 volts to grounds service wire line across Starkey Street extended from an attachment on rear of building known as 371 Wabasha Street, 36 feet above natural ground level and 63 feet south of Colorado Street Bridge, directly to an attachment on pole, on premises known as 388 Starkey Street,.22.5 feet above natural ground level and 38 feet south of said Bridge, This is an emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, and safety. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. That permission is hereby given to Collins Electrical Construction Company, a corporation, to construct, maintain, and operate, for flood lighting purposes, an electrical low voltage (120 volts to ground) service wire line across Starkey Street extended from an attachment on rear of building known as 371 Wabasha Street; 36 feet above natural ground level and 63 feet south of Colorado Street Bridge, directly to an attach - ment on pole, on premises known as 388 Starkey Street, 22.5 feet above natural ground level and 38 feet south of said Bridge. The Commissioner of Public Works is hereby authorized to issue a permit to said Collins Electrical Construction Company for the construc- tion., maintenance, and operation of said electrical low voltage service wire line, upon its compliance with the following conditions, viz: 1. The permit provided to be granted hereunder shall be limited, in operative effect, to the erection, maintenance, and operation of said electrical low voltage service wire line across said Starkey Street. 2. Said permittee shall construct said electrical low voltage service wire line at-its own expense, under the supervision and to the satisfaction of the Commissioner of Public Works and the Chief Engineer, of the Department of Public Works. 3. Said permittee shall pay the cost of engineering and inspection, and for the cost of publication of this ordinance. 4. Said permittee shall furnish a bond to the City of Saint Paul in the sum of $5,000, conditioned to comply with all the terms of this ordinance and to indemnify and save harmless said City from all liability, charges, loss, judgments, suits, costs — Pxnense that may accrue to persons or property Original tto {City Clerk N �,4 I ORDINANCE��2 PRESENTED BY COUNCIL FILE NO. Said permittee shall, within ten days after the passage and publication of this ordinance, file a written acceptance thereof with the City Clerk. Section 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, and safety. Section 3.
