RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the recommendation of the Purchasing
Committee in awarding contract for furnishing and delivering 10 - 3011 Water Gate
Valves to the Water Department Storeyard, Hamline & Carroll Avenues, Saint Paul,
Minnesota, to IOWA VALVE COMPANY for the contract price of X23,151.57, all in
accordance with Water Department specifications and the Formal Bid #7412 of said
Iowa Valve Company, such bid being the lowest and said bidder being a reasonable
and reliable one and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up
the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City officials hereby are
authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
