In the matter of changing the grade of Conway St. from Johnson Parkway
to English St.;also grading Conway St.from Etna St. to Johnson Parkway, and Etna St, f,
from E. Third St. to Old Hudson Road, under Preliminary Order 187848 approved
June 10, 1958 and Final Order 189129 approved Sept.16,1958, and in the matter of
constructing a public sewer from the Belt Line Sewer to Etna St. on the existing
sewer easement on Lots 13 through 30 inclusive, Block 4, Eastview Addition No.3,
the center line of said severer_ being the center line produced of Conway St.as
platted west of Etna St.; in Conway St. from Etna St.to English St., and in
English St. from Conway St. to 40 ft. nortia of Wilson Ave.- all of which is to:--be
known as the ENGLISH- CONWAY SEWER SYSTEM, under Preliminary Order 189019
approved Sept.4th, 1958.
RESOLVED, That the plans and specifications as submitted for the above
improvement be and the same are hereby approved and the Commissioner of Public Works,
be and he is hereby directed to place the gravel and oiling on Conway St.from
Etna tt, to Johnson Parkway, and to do the fine grading, compact sub -base, place
gravel and oil and construct bituminous type gutters on Etna St. from E. Third. St.
to Old Hudson Road at an estimated cost of $12,273.50 and the Purchasing Agent
proceed to secure the necessary materials and be-it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Purchasing Agent be and he is hereby directed
to obtain bids for the improvement, the bids to show separately the amount for
the grading work(except the work to be done by City.Forces) and the amount for
sewer work as per plans and specifications, and the total thereof to be considered
as bids for the entire improvement,_ and_ _ be it
