RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Water
Department f.o.b,, St. Paul, Minnesota, approximi ely 22,000 feet of 3011 prestressed
concrete lined cylinder pipe (Class 200) with rubber and steel joints and
appurtenances to LOCK JOINT PIPE CONPANY in accordance with City specifications
therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #7350 of said Lock Joint Pipe
Company for the contract price of approximately $360,140.00 (Board of Water
Co issoners reserving the right to increase the materials of the contract
by an amount not to exceed twenty per centum of the quantity indicated) such
T��bid,be ng the'lowes.t and said Lock Joint Pipe Company being a reasonable and
reliable bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to -.
draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials
hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of
