WHEREAS, Additions and Deductions which might prove to be
necessary in the making of the Improvement described as
the Construction of a Sewer in MARION STREET from Nebraska
Avenue to Arlington Avenue, Comptroller's Contract L -6025,
F. Morettini Construction Company, Contractor, have been
provided for in the Specifications, and
WHEREAS, it has been found necessary to make the following
Addition and Deduction:
ADDITION: 15.0 lin. ft. of tested treated timber
® $ 3.50 $ 52.50
DEDUCTION: 39 cu. yds. of Crushed Rock.Sub -base
® $ 6.00 234.00
NET DEDUCTION , and
WHEREAS, the net deduction is 181.50, now therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the City of St. Paul through its City Council
approves the foregoing deduction made in accordance with the
Specifications in the amount of $ 181.50, said sum to be
deducted from the lump sum consideration named in the Contract
known as Comptroller's Contract L -6025 for the making of the above
Improvement. i
The Commissioner of Public Works has agreed with the
above Amed Contractor,thp-t the amount of $ 181.50 is the
correct sum to be deducted from the aLoove Contract.
