WHEREAS, John Steinmaus has been a loyal employee of Saint Paul Public Schools, serving as Auto
Tech Assistant at the Central High School Service Station since 1983; and
WHEREAS, John has been an example of hazd work and excellence to hundreds of students throughout the
yeazs; and
WHEREAS, as a model of kindness, John has gone above and beyond to be of service to the staff,
students, and community of Central High School; and
WHEREAS, John has been known to start cars and fix flats in the earliest hours and on the coldest days for
the senior citizens of our community; and
WHEREAS, John will respond readily to any call for help from friends and strangers alike; and
WHEREAS, people like John are an integral part of what makes the City of Saint Paul and Ward l a great
place; now
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Saint Paul City Council does hereby proudly and publicly
acknowledge the outstanding achievements of John Steinmaus; and
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul CiCy Council affirms the aforementioned pride by
proclaiming John Steinmaus to be a good will ambassador for the City of Saint Paul and proclaims
Thursday, May 21, 2009 to be forevermore known in the City of Saint Paul as
