RESOLVED, That the Purchasing Agent, with the written consent thereto by
the City, Comptroller,�evidenced by his endorsement hereon, and with the
consent of the Council; given hereunder, is hereby authorized pursuant to
Section 290 of the,Charter of the City of Saint Paul, to issue Purchase Order,
without advertisement therefor or the receipt of.competitive bids in the
premises for fifteen Motorola Communications & Electronics, Inc. Model
CD- U43CGT -1030B SP-2 Mobile Transmitters and Receivers, for the uses and
purposes.of the Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Police of the City
of Saint Paul and in the latter's behalf, of the aggregate purchase price
of $6318.00 f'6o.b4 destination, payable as follows,
50% thereof to be paid by the Federal Government and 50% to be paid by the
City of Saint Paul;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that this_is a patented article and no advantage,can be
gained by competitive bids, and that the aforesaid portion of said
aggregate purchase price to be paid by the City of Saint Paul in the sum
of $3159,00, and no more, shall be payable from the fund of said City
designated as Police Fund, Radio Supplies 7 F , available therefor as
- certified by the Comptroller.
Undersigned hereby consents to and
concurs in foregoing resolutions
and all authorizations thereunder -
