RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee therefor,
and hereby awards the,contract for Tow Truck Service for the Department of public Safety
for one year from date of countersignature of contract, to BISHOP TOWING SERVICE in
accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #7392
of said Bishop Towing Service at unit prices bid - $3.50 per Tow Unit upon order of
Police Department, $2.00 per City Cars and $2.00 per Fire.Apparatus, total contract
price approximately $15,000.00, such bid being the lowest and said Bishop Towing
Service being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby
is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City officials
hereby are authorized to execute same on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
