DeCourcy— COUNCIL RESOLUTI N— GENERAL FORM [ Whereas, Since 1936, the Cound',10 `}he Cis of Saint Paul has perms ' PRESENTED BY ��� �� stapn inrrividu +l 1 l corPOr tin `. ;:ti, s is ti COMMISSIONE DATE .n1 K7' li w t. w� WHEREAS, since 1936, the Council of the City of .Saint 'Paul has permitted certain individuals and corporations,, to connect with the City sewer system properties located outside the City Limits, and permission being granted in' each instance by specific ordinance which included a pro - vision that the City accept from the permittee an amount, "in lieu of special assessments and taxes on account of the .sewer service "; and WHEREAS, when such policy was formulated, most of 'the area contiguous to the City Limits was unincorporated, with the possibility existing that the parts affected might subsequently annex to the City, and whereas in fact, at the present time, all areas,contiguous have been incorporated f as governmental subdivisions in their own right; and WHEREAS, the funds received under each ordinance by the City were, at time of payment, credited to the Advance Sewer Payment Account in the Permanent Improvement Revolving Fund; a nd - " WHEREAS, because of the situation existing as ;f outlined hereinabove, the money so paid in as specified should not.now be included in the Advance Sewer Payment r Account'but�s�hould be otherwise disposed of, now, therefore, :be it ��...�,.., RESOLVED, That the total amount of the payments made in ; previous years in the amount of $29, 727.75 y(specif is detail of which is outlined in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and made a part hereof ) shall be transferred from the Permanent Improvement Revolving Fund to the Miscellaneous Revenue!Account of the General Fund, and, at the end of 1958, shall be transferred further to General Fund Surplus Account.
