WHEREAS, Philip Peck and Ralph W. Oberg, employes of
the Department of Public Safety of the City of Saint Paul,
were injured on September 23, 1958, in a third party accident,
while engaged in the performance of their duties for the Depart-
ment of Public Safety; and
WHEREAS, the City has incurred medical expenses in
the total amount of $44.25 on behalf of Philip Peck therefor,
and the said employe was disabled for work for a period of three
working days, being paid the amount of $60.00 therefor; and
`-WHEREAS, the City has incurred medical expenses in
the total amount of $29.25 on behalf of Ralph W. Oberg therefor,
and the said employe was disabled for work for a period of six
workingg days, being paid the amount of $120.01 therefor; and
WHEREAS, a settlement has been negotiated by the
parties whereby said employes, Philip Peck and Ralph'W. Oberg,
each will receive a sum of $100.00 in settlement of his claim
against the third party involved in the accident, and the City
will receive full reimbursement for its medical expenses,and
salary paid to said employes during the period of their disability,
because of said accident, therefore be it
