COUNCIL RESOLUTION-GENERAL FORM

RESOLVED, That the proper City officials be, and they
are herein authorized and instructed to enter into a supple-
mental agreement with the Northern Pacific Railway Company
for the improvement of Kasota Avenue between Eustis Street
and Raymond Avenue, together with miscellaneous work, such
supplemental agreement providing for a temporary highway
between Eustis Street and Raymond Avenue, pending the out -
come of proposed railway consolidation, which, if consummated,
would result in the probable abandonment of certain tracks and
the elimination of the necessity for an underpass bridge, thus
improving the permanent highway grade line, and saving a sub-
stantial sum for both the City of St. Paul and the Northern
Pacific Railway Company; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the Commissioner of -Public. Works be
authorized and instructed to apply to the Minnesota Railroad
and Warehouse Commission for the approval of the aforesaid
temporary highway route between Eustis Street and Raymond
Avenue.,
