In the Matter of the restoration of the sidewalk on the north side of Sims Ave.
from Greenbrier St. to Walsh St. by constructing new sidewalk where necessary
and by repairing where practical and the complete removal of the boulevard trees
where necessary to the sidewalk restoration
under Preliminary Order 188738 approved August 13, 1958
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is :. to restore the
sidewalk on the north side of Sims Ave. from Greenbrier St. to Walsh St. by constructing
new sidewalk where necessary and by repairing where practical and the complete removal
of the boulevard trees where necessary to the s- 'ewalk restoration
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ .50 ipgr sSd„_,ft. for mono.walk 4" thief .
(Excay., fill, conc.rem2ld., root cutting, drive crossings, etc.) at extra cost.
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 28th day of
October 19_58, at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the_. nature of the improvement an � the total cost thereof as estimated.
