WHEREAS, on September 11, 1958, Almighty God summoned
from this life Mrs. Alice K. Delaney, mother of Edward K. Delaney,
former Mayor of the City of Saint Paul and presently a member of
the Board of County Commissioners, Ramsey County, Minnesota,
Mr's. Margaret Scanlon, Thomas J. Delaney, Mrs. ice Dobie, Mrs.
Katherine Beaudette, and Mrs. Mary Flynn; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Council of the City
of Saint Paul to extend to the bereaved family of Mrs. Alice K.
Delaney its sympathy for the loss of a wom wio throughout the
years of her long life as a devoted wife and mother, contributed
greatly to the citizens of the City and State; now, therefore, be
it
RESOLVED, that we, the members of the City Council
extend to -.the members of the bereaved family our deep and heartfelt
sympathy in this hour of their sorrow; be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that in token of our deepest sympathy,
this resolution be spread on the official minutes of the Council
of the City of Saint Paul, and that an engrossed copy thereof be
sent to the bereaved family of the deceased.
