Whereas, The City Council, as pro-
vided by law, has authorized the. De-
partment of Parks, Playgrounds And
Public Buildings to enter upon the
premises known and described .as 1374
East Sixth Street in the City of Saint
Paul, and to tear down anti remove the
WHEREAS, The City Council, as provided by law, has
authorized.the Department of Parks, Playgrounds And Public
Buildings;to enter.upon the premises known and described as
1374 East'isixth Street in the City of Saint Paul, and to
tear down:'and remove the buildings thereon as being unsafe
and dangerous to life, limb, and adjoining pr..operty, and
WHEREAS, Pursuant to such Council action, bids for the
tearing down and removal of said buildings were duly advertis-
ed for in!accordance with the provisions of the City Chatter,
and the lowest bid was in the sum of $327.00 and the expenses
of the Department of Parks, Playgrounds And Public Buildings
in connection with the condemnation proceedings and writing
specifications amounted to $ 64.33 making a total of $ 391.33'
and
WHEREAS, There are no funds now appropriated in the
Building Wrecking Emergency Fund for the wrecking and remov-
al of said buildings, be it,
RESOLVED, That said sum be paid out of Wrecking Condemn-
ed Buildings Account of the General Fund 31 G 23, and that,
in the event said sum proves to be collectible from the own-
er of the. premises, same is to be credited to the General
Fund Item 31 G 23.
